I slept at 4am yesterday as i was listening attentively to the story of my maternal aunt, told by my mum! haha, actually she repeated it quite a number of times already.

It was about my maternal aunt who died 7 mths after she was born into earth. She died the 7th month, the 7th day, and 7 was a very significant number to her. After she died, some buddhist or taoist, those devotees who pray to deities, told my mum’s family that she was actually one of the 7 sister stars. Those devotees said that the one of the seven stars disappeared while she was on earth and returned back after she died and she was a celestial angel who was being granted permission to come to earth and play before going back by the end of 7months. My Mum said, “Ta shi xia lai wan de, yi xia zi jiu yao hui qu”.

This is the constellation of the 7stars visible to the naked eye.

Singapore Youth Olympics 2010

Hmm. Singapore won the bid to host the 2010 Youth Olympics ? I would say i have mixed feelings. I do feel proud of my country because we are finally gonna be able to be recognised by the WORLD, and that Singapore is NOT part of Malaysia, as some claimed.

However, if i am part of the IOC or YOG, i will vote for Moscow instead of Singapore. I feel that 500 million for a youth olympics is alittle expensive. Why not put it as the Singapore Budget 2010. LOLS. Singapore’s really ready? That is yet to be seen. =D

Why some bus drivers deserve it ??

Have you heard before that some bus drivers are being abused badly by commuters? However, some bus drivers deserve it.

Sometimes, the bus drivers are really really rude. Bus drivers have their rights. Commuters don’t ?

The *** Bus services have alot to improve.

Singapore Airshow

Well, i didn’t really went for the Airshow as in the exhibition and performance and all that. The Airshow is opened for the public only on the 23rd and 24th i think. Today is more for those in the Aviation Sector and all those who wants to buy planes??

In fact, i went to Changi Beach!  Yeah, the area nearer to the Airshow area. It is a good show, with a good view! People who attends the Airshow have to pay 20 bucks. I watched it free ^^. LOL. Many professional photographers were there.

Dad and I took a taxi to Changi village, guess what i saw ?

Chingay

Went for the Chingay Parade this evening and was seated opposite the Supreme Court at Padang. Not a bad show though. Guess what came out first ? STAR WARS , yeah they had darth vader and everything. Perhaps the most interesting part was the F1 Car!  Its engine was superb and loud.

Yes, the Prime Minister was there. =D. They had this massive tossing of the raw fish but were uneaten ( i guess because it was there the whole afternoon to collect dust ). Were they even real ?

 All in all, a good show ! ^^

Quinquagesima Sunday ?

Have you ever heard of Quinquagesima Sunday? Actually i have not heard it before either. It is suppose to be the sunday before Ash Wednesday. This year, Quinquagesima Sunday falls on the 3rd of February. According to wikipedia, this term has not been used ever since the reform of the second vatican council.

Yesterday night, i slept at 3am! I think i am beginning to start being addicted to the Radio. In the beginning, i listened to 98.7’s Muttons at Midnight, well yea, kind of funny, especially the “you complain!” segment. Realised the song, “Hey there delilah” is not that bad. haha. After 98.7 ended, i listened to the 88.9’s BBC world news. Kenya has got some violence going on ? California governor Arnold Schwarzenneger supports McCain in the presidency ? Cool!  Yeah, it is either Hillary or McCain. =D

At about 3am, i started praying the Litany for the Souls in Purgatory. I had that urge to do it because, the room i am in, is freaking eerie.
